Prevent damage from scratching! New and improved Soft Claws CLS are an ideal solution when cat scratching is a problem in your home. They're also a preferred alternative to declawing. And now, they are improved. Each feline nail cap (except kitten) is embedded with a series of self-locking cleats (CLS), which offer an improved grip. They also feature Soft Cuff, which helps them fit snugly around your cat's nail. Combined with the cleats, the cuff helps to improve over-all adhesion. Plus, a Kitten size is now available, which includes two sizes of nail caps to provide natural progression as your cat grows.
Soft Claws nail caps apply easily in only minutes. Apply Soft Claws directly to nails; will not interfere with normal claw extension and retraction. Nail caps last about 4 to 6 weeks.
Kitten Soft Claws Kit contains 40 nail caps (20 kitten caps for pets under 5 lbs and 20 small caps for cats 6-8 lbs), 6 applicator tips, two tubes of adhesive, and complete instructions. For cats over 3 months old. Available in Clear only.

Trim your cat's nails
Please note: If you do not regularly trim your cat's nails or if your cat is not accustomed to having her paws handled, she may be reluctant to let you do so at first. This is natural and may be overcome easily by taking a few minutes each day for several days to gently massage your cat's feet with your fingers. It is also helpful to have someone restrain your cat to free both your hands to work. Kittens under three months do not require nail trimming.
For best results, make sure your cat's nails are clean and free from dust and grit before you begin. If the nails need cleaning, a cotton swab moistened with alcohol may be used.
With a pair of pet nail clippers (item #33381), trim only the very narrow tip of your cat's nails.
Applying the caps
Remove adhesive tube cap and cut off tip. Insert nozzle completely into nail cap and fill 1/3 of cap with adhesive - do not over fill. Before beginning application, fill all ten caps with adhesive.
Extend cat's nail by grasping paw between thumb and forefinger and gently push nail forward from the top until fully exposed. Slide nail cap fully onto nail.
