Spiral Penthouse

Carpeted Spiral Penthouse has four elevated sites to please one cat or many. At 39" high, your cat can jump, play, peek, or sleep on any one of this furniture's five levels. Then he can curl up in the catnip-scented penthouse and enjoy the view. Excellent cat furniture for older pets who have trouble jumping, yet crave the altitude. The Mega version features a wider base and thicker posts.

1. Remove the 4" bolt and washer from the bottom of a 7" post with long bolt. Insert the 4" bolt and washer up through the hole in the corner of the base marked "A" into the bottom of the post. Tighten with wrench.

2. Remove the 4" bolt and washer from the bottom of a 7" post with short bolt. Insert the short bolt of the post into the threaded t-nut of one of the platforms. Turn until tight. Place this platform over the long bolt of the 7" post attached to the base. Insert the 4" bolt and washer up through the hole in the corner of the base marked "B" and into the bottom of the post. Tighten with wrench. Place a 7" post with long bolt over the post with long bolt and thread until tight.

3. Remove the 4" bolt and washer from the bottom of the 15" sisal post. Insert the short bolt of the post into the threaded t-nut of one of the remaining platforms. Turn until tight. Place this platform over the long bolt of the 7" post attached to the base. Insert the 4" bolt and washer up through the hole in the corner of the base marked "C" and into the bottom of the post. Tighten with wrench. Place a 7" post with long bolt over the post with long bolt and thread until tight.

4. Remove the 4" bolt and washer from the bottom of the 22" post. Insert the short bolt of the post into the threaded t-nut of the last platform. Turn until tight. Place this platform over the long bolt of the 7" post attached to the base. Insert the 4" bolt and washer up through the hole in the corner of the base marked "D" and into the bottom of the post. Tighten with wrench. Place a 7" post with short bolt over the long bolt post and thread until tight.

5. Stand the unit up. Place penthouse on top of the unit aligning the threaded t-nut of the platform with the short bolt. Turn penthouse until tight. Attach breakaway mouse according to directions included with mouse.

6. Check all pieces for tightness and re-tighten after a few days of use.

Cleaning Your Spiral Penthouse
The Spiral Penthouse can be vacuumed periodically to remove pet hair and debris. When soiled, spot clean only. Use soapy water solution or a pet-formulated spot/stain remover such as OdorLogic™ CleanAway. Spray CleanAway directly onto the spot or stain, and allow its enzymes and "good bacteria" to go to work until the spot is gone permanently. It also removes all traces of pet odors, to keep the Penthouse smelling fresh.
