A favorite in my house
I know this item is an ottoman, but I bought it exclusively for my Oliver when he sits by the window. He just loves to rest on the top and take in the sun and all the other outside activity. This is an exceptionally well built item, as is typical for Drs. Foster and Smith, and it's a favorite in my house.

nice product
This is a great product but I thought a little overpriced. I can't get kitty to go into the hole but he loves it when the top is off. He uses it for a perch when he's not on my lap or hogging my chair! Sturdy and looks nice.

Cats love ottoman, but...
My cats love hiding and sleeping in this ottoman. It came just about an hour ago, and they haven't left it alone yet! That said, as far as it being an ottoman/footrest, the top has no padding...or it is so thin as to not matter. you can rap on the top with your knuckles and it sounds like someone's at the door! To make this perfect, Drs. Foster and Smith, put some more padding on top of the lid so it's easy on the feet. As it is, I will have to keep a pillow on top. Sorry I can't give it 5 stars...

The ottoman is attractive and well made. My cat looked at it and immediately went inside. A little tall for the chair I bought if for.
The ottoman is attractive and well made. My cat looked at it and immediately went inside the cat opening. The ottoman is a little to high for comfort for the chair I bought if for. Top could be softly cushioned for more comfort but that would add to the price.
