Awesome product!
After spending close to 40$ buying other nail clippers from other stores and left disappointed, I decided to take a chance on these.
I thought they would be too big from the photo, but they're a good size for trimming adult cats' nails. Kittens would need a smaller trimmer.
This product has yet to crush my cat's nails which I'm SO thankful for. They do a clean and swift cut of the nail which makes the process easier for me and less stressful for my cat.
I started filing my cat's nails with the file provided and it helps smooth the nail after trimming.

Well worth the money for good, easy trimming
In the past I had used the lower priced scissors-type trimmers for both of my cats. With those trimmers the cuts were usually a bit ragged and it seemed to be hard to get the trimmers in the right place for the correct cut. Plus, small trimmers take more hand pressure since there is less leverage.
This Red trimmer gives clean, precise cuts with minimal hand effort. It seems to be easier and quicker to position on the claw for the cut. Quickness is important with one of my cats as she has no patience. I was pleasantly surprised and impressed with the fisrt cut.
These are well made with the replaceable blade and spring being a bonus.Definitely recommend if you want a good trimmer.

Nail trimmer is the cutting edge.
I have always had my dog and cat's nails trimmed by the veterinarian. I ordered this product in order to save some money on the vet bill and so my dog and cat would have their nails trimmed in a more familiar environment.
The nail trimmer is easy to use and the video is also helpful. I only trim one or two paws at a time and finish the other paws later. It is easier especially with the cat as she squirms around a lot.
I like the idea that the trimmer comes with a nail file and replacement blade and spring.
It is a good deal for the money.

junk, in a word
engineer says "junk"
1. cutting blade is designed to be allowe to slide down and jam. No excuse for not putting a stop on it. The instructions say "if it jams, simply tap the end on your hand.." Theres no excuse for it jammig in the first place, then making the Customer compensate for poor design.
2 blade is not very sharp. Pointed is not sharp.
3 tool is designed backwards, have to hold the unit backwards from what it should be to correctly angle the cut. (with the moving handle towards the cats leg)
Unfortunately this was the best unit I found, the others are worse than junk.. the scissor type just crush the nail
