Cats and Dogs Love Them
I really like these combs. I use them for both cats and dogs. It helps to control shedding and I think they enjoy our one on one time. I have several sets, so the combs are handy whenever I have an opportunity to groom one of my many pets.

Paws Up
Having 3 cats, some short hair, and some long-haired, is a task to check fleas with a flea comb I purchased at a pet store. At the vet's office, I saw their flea comb and used it to comb my Himalayan. I was FLOORED with not only the efficiency of showing fleas and flea dirt, but how silky and more "lively" her hair became. Doctors Foster and Smith was recommended to me to purchase this comb. I did so feeling "yeah, right" as I didn't feel I'd get the same quality as the one from the vet's office. The comb rec'd in the mail is exactly the same comb. I have 5 furbabies now that look much healthier coat-wise, all de-tangled in a flash, and I have basically tossed out my brushes. My furbabies literally line up every evening for their combing.
I HIGHLY recommend this comb. This is one of those finds that makes a HUGE difference in life making something easier and far better!

works poorly
I bought this comb to replace one that I had used for the past 15 years. My old one still works well but had a few teeth that were bent and caught on my cat's fur. This new one doesn't catch on anything. It barely works. I can't get it to dig in to my cats' fur at all.
I would not recommend.
