Epi-Otic® Ear Cleansers

Two great ear cleansing products for pets help keep ears clean and dry. Epi-Otic Ear Cleanser is a non-irritating ear cleanser suggested for routine cleansing to remove crusts and excessive wax in cats with healthy ears. It uses a patented encapsulation system that slowly releases ingredients long after product application and creates a protective film on the skin and hair to protect against environmental damage. Fresh apple blossom fragrance.

For regular cleaning and for pets being treated for severe otitis externa, we recommend Epi-Otic Advanced Ear Cleanser. This non-irritating cleanser contains anti-adhesive properties to help prevent bacteria from attaching to the skin surface. With 0.2% salicylic acid, it has antiseptic properties and allows dead skin cells to shed more easily. This formula is gentle on irritated skin and has patented anti-odor technology to eliminate ear canal odor. Neutral pH means this product should not interfere with other medications. Fresh citrus fragrance.

Ingredients: Water, propylene glycol, lactic acid, Spherulites, docusate sodium, salicylic acid, PCMX, dimethicone, fragrance and FD&C blue #1. Lactic acid and salicylic acid are present in encapsulated (Spherulites) and free forms. Chitosanide is present in encapsulated form.

Uses: Epi-Otic may be used for routine ear cleansing in healthy ear canals or prior to administration of other ear preparations in the treatment of otitis externa. It may be used in dogs and cats of any age.

Directions for use: Shake well before use. Turn the white nozzle to open the product and then apply liberally into the ear canal. Gently rub the base of the ear and then wipe the interior of the ear flap with cotton or a cloth moistened with Epi-Otic Ear Cleanser.

Frequency of use: From two to three times a week to daily for routine use, before each ear treatment in the case of otitis externa, or as directed by your veterinarian.

Epi-Otic Advanced

Active Ingredient: Salicylic Acid 0.2%
Also Contains: Disodium EDTA, Docusate Sodium, PCMX, a monosaccharide complex (l-rhamnose, d-galactose, d-mannose), and FD&C Blue #1.

Uses: Epi-Otic Advanced Ear Cleanser may be used to cleanse ear canals with severe otitis externa or prior to administration of other ear preparations in the treatment of otitis externa. It may be used in dogs and cats of any age.
