Never change another litter box again! |
Give your cat a more natural place to eliminate and give yourself a break from ever having to change another litter box. Just as instinctive as going in your backyard, the Kitty Kat Pet Loo lets your cat do his "business" indoors, with hassle-free disposal of urine and easy scooping of solids. It doesn't require litter, so you won't ever have to handle dusty, messy litter again.
The Pet Loo resembles a patch of grass to entice cats to "go" upon it, and it keeps pet waste in one, easy-clean location. Its heavy-duty polymer frame supports a slanted tray, a soak-through artificial grass mat, and a collection cup. Here's how it works: Urine seeps through the grass mat, runs down the slanted tray, and collects in the removable 1.75 liter container. Simply slide out the container and pour liquid waste into your toilet. Solids stay on top of the grass and can be easily scooped and flushed. Measures 17-1/2" x 21-1/2" x 4" high.
Compared to the competition, this unit is extremely lightweight for easy portability. Other units have a wider, clumsier collection tray that increases the likelihood of spills when removed for disposal. This unit's compact collection cup can be removed with a single hand and poses very little risk of spills.
Alternate with Replacement Grass (sold separately) when cleaning and drying a soiled grass mat. 15" x 19".
Nontoxic, biodegradable, enzyme-based Kitty Care Cleaning Solution (sold separately) can be sprayed on the grass after the daily rinse to break down bacteria and organic compounds for proper sanitation. Each comes assembled and ready to use.

Pet Loo
Do you want to move your cat, rabbit, or guinea pig from the litter box to the Pet Loo?
The central idea is that the transition from litter box to the Pet Loo can be accomplished in a series of stages. While it's great to go from "zero to hero" overnight, the truth is the majority of pets will need to adapt to a series of small changes, allowing your pet time to adjust before you make another small change.
What to do
Training & Staging
- Begin by having the current litter box alongside the Pet Loo. Make sure your pet knows where it is and uses it. Let this be as is for a few days.
- Next, put the current litter box on top of the Pet Loo. Allow this to be as is for another few days.
- Take away the litter box entirely. Cover the Pet Loo with your current litter, keeping the "surface" that they are used to the same.
- Slowly over the course of the next week or two, reduce the amount of litter on the Pet Loo until you are just left with the plush Pet Loo grass.
What not to do
- Be sure not to feed your pet near or on the Pet Loo as pets instinctively avoid eliminating where they eat.
- Do not encourage or allow your pet to sleep or lay on the Pet Loo as it should only act as an area for eliminating. Pets don't eliminate in their beds, so why should they sleep where they eliminate?
Please Note: If at any time your pet goes backwards a few steps, this is an indication you're pushing him/her too far too fast. Slow it down or even back up a stage or two and try again, this time slightly slower.
