excellent product
this is doing exactly what I wanted, all the litter is caught on the rug, and not scattered on the floor, the cats didn't even notice it was there.

Best Litter Mat
These litter mats trap and hold litter better than any others that I have used. They are easy to clean. Litter vacuums out easity with the wand of the vaccum. Also they are easy to wash.

Great mats !
These do catch the litter in them and cut down on all the sweeping and tracking of litter everywhere. I'm not sure the half moon one is worth it but the large square is great and you could always cut that to size. I have both so it depends on the area you need to cover. I have tried 3 different types of litter mats " with several cats" and these work the best. My cats like to claw at the mats too and these hold up to the clawing where most dont.

These semi-circular mats are excellent for two purposes:
1. I use two of them beneath my Drinkwell water fountain, overlapping the straight edges slightly. When two or all three of my cats are dlapping from the fountain simultaneously, all spills bead up on the mat surface. The spilled or splashed water stays in those little beads until I notice and use a paper tissue to blot them up. No more wet floor or carpet!
2. I use one of these semicularlar mats at the most likely "exit place" of each litter box -- plus a long regular mat or carpet scrap under the litter box itself. No litter-pick-up system is perfect, but this material comes as close to perfect as I've seen in 34 years of living with multiple cats. The dots of litter vaccuum up easily with a small cannister vac attachment.
The cats don't seem at all bothered by the fibrous, "matted top" surface of these mats. They stand right on them to lap from their Drinkwell water fountain. In fact, they seem more comfortable with this mat material than with the wadded up old sweatshirts I had bundled around the Drinkwell Fountain these arrived, maybe because it's nice and flat under their paws.
