FURminator Waterless Spray This spray has a very pleasant and fresh fragrance. My senior cat is too fearful for a water bath so this was a nice alternative. She wasn't afraid of being sprayed with it and the product left her coat clean, shiny and smelling fresh. It's also very easy to use. September 11, 2012

Finally did something about our super-long-haired cat's matted fur Our super-long-haired cat's fur would become seriously matted, especially in spring when she began to shed. She would not tolerate much brushing because the tugging of the mats was uncomfortable, so we had to resort to cutting them out, which left our otherwise beautiful cat looking pretty ragged. We had thought about putting something like human hair conditioner on her to "grease" the mats and make them easier to comb, but were worried that she would ingest whatever chemicals were in such preparations. This spray does what we were hoping for: it slicks the hair and makes it possible to work through the mats with the furminator tool. We had to do several applications over a couple of weeks to finally get our cat mat-free, but it was worth it. I think we can now keep up with the mats and prevent them from forming by using this spray with the furminator. I'm ordering two more bottles. September 29, 2011
