Remote Control Micro Mouse
Actually works pretty well - I would recommend
Contrary to previous reviews, I found this remote mouse to be a good product and very entertaining for my cat. I had purchased a different remote mouse at another store for just a few dollars less. That mouse was about 3/4 the size, would only go back and forth - not side to side - and the wheels were much lower to the ground than these so it was constantly getting stuck on the low pile outdoor carpet on my patio where I use it. It had a "charge life" of approx. the same duration as this mouse, but took twice as long to charge - this one takes less than a minute to re-charge.
This mouse is more realistic looking, actually ran pretty quickly over the carpet and even faster on a hard floor. The bottom line is this - it is a cloth mouse body over a small 4 wheel remote control car frame and I'm sure there is an even smaller battery inside - hence the approx. 5 minute battery life per charge - that's if you run the mouse constantly during that period. It may not sound like a long time, but it's enough to entertain your cat per charge. The remote works well and the mouse does move quickly in all directions.
My cat is an outdoor cat and likes the thrill of the hunt and she really seems to like chasing and pouncing on this mouse - way more than the other one I had bought. Yes, if she tips it over in it's back I need turn it over, but if it falls on it's side it seems to get back on it's wheels most of the time. I would buy it again and I would recommend it - except for use on med. to thick carpet. For the price, it is a great toy for an energetic cat. I have spent more for other toys and my cat seems to like this the best because it is truly interactive .
When the time comes to replace it because it has worn out, or if my cat has pounced and knocked the life out of it, I will definitely be purchasing another one.

Cats like it, but it's tempormental
We got this for my four cats for Christmas. They love chasing it and batting it around. What I don't like is it doesn't hold a charge long enough to finish play time (they can't get exhausted on this toy), you can't leave it on charge to play with it "next time" -- you have to put it on the charger when you want to play with it, leave it on charge for about a minute, then play. My cats don't like to wait! Sweep your floor before you use it -- it's a cat hair magnet. You might think your floor is clean, but it will find all the fur and it will get wrapped around the wheels -- only a few strands will immobilize the thing. Overall, it's a nice toy for what it is, but because of the issues, I think it's terribly over priced.

It worked for about an hour! The wheels were so small that any hair (human or pet) got tangled up. Neither front wheels will spin. Save your money!

Skip this product. The mouse barely holds a charge for 2 minutes and even when it's charged it only moves sluggishly.
