CatIt for my Pug
My Pug had such an issue with getting water up her nose, in her wrinkle and just simply running out all the time. She was over my friends' house, they had the DogIt. Well she LOVED it and honestly so did I. No water in the nose, wrinkle, down the chin and most of all she always had filtered water. We only have one Pug and the DogIt was too big but man is that CatIt a CHAMP! I have recommended it to everybody that has gotten a dog or cat since. Thank you so much!!

The cats like it so I like it
PROS: It's attractive (pretty blue section that makes the hemisphere water tank look blue#, holds a goodly supply of water, keeps the water cool, the cats enjoy drinking out of the bowl portion or licking off the sides. It comes totally apart for good cleaning, which I like very much. The floss and carbon filter is placed right where the water enters back in from the drinking bowl, so it catches all trash and does not allow it to get into the pump area. The filter can be rinsed off and reused quite a few times. It's very quiet except when the water is almost gone; it makes a slurping noise then, which, while irritating, is good because you know you need to service it. I have 3 of these for about 5 years and they're still going well, running 24/7.
The cons are that it might be a little bit of a challenge when it comes to refilling for some people and you must be careful with small parts if holding over sink or you may lose them down the drain. There is a green cap that plugs in over the place where the electrical cord exists and I've lost most of them down the drain along with the green plug that is basically a decoration and plugs into the flower shaped handle that screws into the top of the water tank. I also once lost the spring loaded gizmo that you twist to open the water tank - that required a sink trap disassembly! So, bottom line is, don't mess with parts while it's over the sink for refilling.
The other con is that when you have it all filled and want to place it back in the bottom section #the part with the water bowl) it's hard to get it lined up so it sits firmly in place and requires some fiddling.

My cat loves her Cat It Water Fountain. The filters work great and are very easy to use.
