Absolutely Love It!!
This is a great food dish for cats!
Mine were not happy at first but quickly learned how to get the food out. The fact that they have to work for it causes them to eat slower. This has helped with the 'gorging' problem cats sometimes have (where they throw up soon after) and my one 'fatty boy' is already losing weight - all on his own!!!
The bowl is sturdy, does not get pushed around, and the small lip helps keep food from getting all over the floor.
I highly recommend this food bowl!

EXCELLENT feeder!
I have four cats, and all of them use the feeder.
Don't fill the feeder so high that the food sits in the top funnel. That defeats the need to reach through the side holes. Instead, shake the feeder so all the food goes to the very bottom. Also, SHOW your kitty that there's food in the bowl. Scrape out a piece, while they watch, and let them pick it up. And if you have a really stubborn kitty, take up all other dry food for a day or two.
Above all, be patient! It took my laziest cat about two weeks before he 'caught on', and after that, there was no stopping him.
This feeder has an added benefit. If you own a cat who eats too fast, this will slow them down. No more wiping up yukky gook. YAY!
If your bowl slides, slip a rubber jar opener or a piece of rubberized shelf liner under it.
My reccomendation? This is the best feeder EVER! Go for it!

Slowed her right down
What an awesome idea this item is, my cat is obese and is a compulsive eater. Once she got over the fact that she now has to work for her food, and that the bowl is indeed a food bowl, not some newfangled torture device, she is loving it! She can now eat when she wants again as she never finishes a whole portion in one go anymore and seems to actually enjoy fishing the crunchies out! Great product! She already looks like she's lost some weight!

Great Idea.
Our cat took only a few days to figure out how to use this product and it is great. He now eats less and that's why we ordered this product, as our cat was snacking all the time. Now he eats only once and awhile. Thank you.
