5-Day Automatic Feeder

This automatic feeder serves up to five meals over 96 hours. The first meal is available immediately. Four more meals are uncovered at times you've set on feeder's quartz timer, up to 96 hours later. Revolving lid simply rotates to expose the next meal compartment, each holding one cup dry food or one 5.5 oz. can. PLUS, twin ice packs under compartments help preserve freshness. Sterilize plastic lid and bowls in dishwasher. Uses one AA battery, not included.

This handy feeder allows you to feed five meals to your pet, over a time period of 96 hours. This is a great way to feed your pet for up to 5 days when you're not at home. The first meal is available immediately, and you can set four more feedings on an automatic timer, within the 96-hour limit. This helps keep your cat on schedule, so she's eating at her normal times, Two ice packs help keep her food fresher while in the feeder.

Introducing the Feeder to Your Cat

We suggest you introduce your cat to this new feeder by incorporating the following steps:

• Place your cat's food in the open food bowl without using the timer.
• When you notice your cat seems happy eating in this way, place the unit in the position where he will easily find the food when you are away.
• Finally, try out the timing mechanism, but try not to watch over your cat - if he knows you're around, he may wait for personal attention.

Operation
Turn your feeder upside down and insert one AA battery. Switch the unit's timing mechanism to 'START'. Check battery operation by visible movement of the 'BATTERY' indicator adjacent to the timer knob on the top of the feeder.

Remove feeder lid by pressing its center retaining tabs together. Remove food bowl unit and insert two pre-frozen icepacks. Replace food bowl unit and fill the required number of bowls, starting clockwise after bowl '0'. (Only fill bowl '0' if an immediate meal is required.) Take care not to overfill the food bowls, so that the rotating lid is not fouled. Replace the lid.

Remove clear timer knob cover by squeezing together its textured areas. Set meal time indicators to desired meal times, starting with the first meal indicator (white triangle) at the first meal to be served (minimum 4 hours from current time). Rotate the timer knob anti-clockwise to set the current time in the 'TODAY' sector opposite the 'Time' arrow. Replace the timer knob cover. Rotate the lid fully counter-clockwise until the bowl '0' is revealed. Place the unit where your cat normally eats.

Testing Your Feeder
Before using the first time, you may wish to ensure its correct operation without food by setting four meals over the full 96 hour timing period and checking that the correct meals are revealed at the set times.
