Automatic Feeder 5-Day
The humans in the house can sleep again
Our 17-year old cat has been waking us up before 6:00 every morning, wanting breakfast. I purchased this automatic feeder so that it can feed the cats at 5:30-6:00 AM, which will tide them over until we get up and give them the rest of their breakfast. It has been working great and it is nice to sleep a whole night without interruption. I like that the dish and the cover can be removed and washed in the dishwasher. I would have given this feeder 4 stars instead of 5 because it was a bit tricky to program it at first. But now that I understand how it work, it isn't a problem.

I ordered this as a replacement for one that I had had for 15 years or more. I also have the Cat Mate 2 compartment feeder and it has its own virtues. This 5 meal feeder is excellent for me being able to be away from home for two nights. Not all cats can have a big bowl of food available and eat at will. This feeder lets me keep my cat's feeding schedule easily. It's very reliable. When I use wet food, I freeze it for the meals after the first full day.

A little difficult to initally figure out, but now no problem.
Brought this product as Skeeter was waking us up during the night and during the day always begging for food. Set the feeder for three times a day. Took about the week and a half but now doesn't brother us any more for food. First few days were rough but we followed the instructions and never went to the feeder (except when filling at night) and ignored his pestering. He now knows the sound of the dish opening and is a much calmer kitty. We wanted the cold packs as we only feed him wet food. Woulld recommend this product.

The feeder works great and my cat has no issues eating out of it. I really like that it has ice packs to keep the food cold. You can pick up extra ice packs at Target for a couple bucks. The directions on how to use the feeder are HORRIBLE and very confusing. Once you figure it out, it's actually quite simple to use.
