Great for our cord muncher We have a terrible cord muncher. And for some reason she loves this toy. Something about the texture she really likes. She loves it so much that we have to put it away at night or she will drives us nuts with it. She likes to get it under things like a dresser or the couch and try to fish it out. But she is the only one of our cats that likes it. With any toy they have their favs and this one is hers. March 17, 2013

Perfect for my cat i was so pleased to find a product for my chewer. he's gone thru every silicone bracelet he can get his teeth on, plus a few of my hair accessories. i guess these don't work for every cat, but for the price it was definitely worth a try for us. would definitely recommend this to anyone with a cat that likes to chew. Useful product for blind orphan kitten We adopted a special needs kitten, he was just a week old. Bear is blind so we "marinated" 2 chew worms in a zip lock Baggie with catnip for 3 days. He can find them by smell and chews on them constantly like a dog with a bone. Bear is now 5 months old and weighs 3 pounds and still avidly chews the worms after a month of good chewing. Saves our ankles! August 12, 2012

I would like to know how durable they are.

I have one cat that likes to eat things like thread, yarn etc. When my son was younger he used to get those slimy toys that you throw against the wall and watch them walk down it. This one cat loved them and would find them no matter where he put them but we were afraid after having to have an operation TWICE to get things he ate like thread, or anything he could chew on, we are afraid of things that will bind up digestion and he will have to have another surgery. The ones my son had were thinner and we had to keep taking them away , he would bite off the head etc. I think he would love this toy but interested how durable they are?

My cat, which goes for ribbon, shoelaces, thread, yard, etc., wasn't interested in the Wiggle Worm beyond licking it, so I can't base my comments on real cat experience. To me the Wiggle Worm feels pretty sturdy. Its body has a diameter of about 1/2 inch. It's solid--some kind of vinyl or rubbery material--not like your son's slimy toys (which are pretty soft compared to this toy). It's like a teething toy, but not the kind filled with liquid. It's more like a solid teething toy, and since babies don't usually bite pieces off those, a cat probably can't destroy one of these toys (at least when it's new and not worn out). If you buy one, be sure to watch your cat while he/she uses it (as with any new cat toy). Good luck!

It seems pretty durable. Never had it break or even a tear. Lily does tend to lose it pretty often. We have a few and never a problem. It is pretty hard and not really slimy. So it won't stick to the wall. She chews on it hard so if it would break I think it would have done so. Been there with the surgery and I wish you luck.

It is very durable. The material is hard and I imagine difficult for any house cat to destroy.

The worm is quite thick and I doubt that your at will be able to chew any part of it off. My cats were totally uninterested in this product.

My cats never played with them, but I would say they are quite durable. They aren't hard, but they're thick and almost solid.

I purchased these myself, and I can tell you they are made of a hard, dense plastic/rubber material, so are very durable. I have destructive cats that played with these for hours, and there are a few bite marks, but they are otherwise still in great shape and ready to chew on again. These are not Kong brand, but in durability, I would say they are comparable.
