My cats love it!
Wasn't sure I actually ordered it when it arrived. It's small. The cats don't get a full stretch. That being said, I put it in front of my dining room chair. It 's at the level of the chair where they scratch the chair leg. Now they scratch this scratch post and leave the chair alone. Since they use it and love it I have to say it''s great. Of course, they tore apart the red fluff ball. I knew that wouldn't last.

Terrific
I have three cats one female and two males -- Pooh and Milo prefer scratching posts with sisal - Pasha prefers carpet -- ALL of them use these scratching posts throughout the day and leave the wall to wall carpeting and furniture alone -- they wore out the posts that match these exactly that I had for the last 5 years and I had a problem finding ones just like them - Tried the ones with cardboard inserts but they refused to use them -- These are a new product for Drs. F&S and I will be regulary ordering new ones as the kids wear these out however from previous experience these scratching posts last a long time even used multiple times daily by THREE cats

My cat likes toy; ignores scratcher angle.
My cat likes to play with the brightly colored toy and has already shredded it. However, she ignores the angled scratcher board. She will chew on the jute underneath. :( Sorry.

Maybe for smaller cats
My cats seems to be interested only in the carpet part of this item. Perhaps they are too big to use the sissell part.
