Great Product
My cats love to play with this, and I'm suprised they have not chewed through the string as of yet. The magnet is very strong and has held together through all the play.

Great Magnets, but not strong enough for safe play.
I tried to place the toy on several wooden furniture pieces which appear to be just slightly thicker than the one pictured. I could easily pull the magnet off. I did get a strong connection on a metal lined step stool that I have out for my cat as a perch. The connections on the wood surfaces won't stand up to aggressive play when toy is placed on shelf of average thickness. It may be better on thinner wood. My cat is only moderately interested in ball/feather as well and only plays with it occassionally.

if your cat is not too rough..
I put this toy on a table that was certainly no thicker than the one shown, but it came apart on my cat the first two times she played with it. If it wouldn't have come apart, I think she would have loved it. Now she just looks at it suspiciously. Maybe if you had something pretty thin to put it on.

This would be a good product if...
your cats do not like to chew as mine do! this lasted about 5 minutes before my cats had chewed through the cord.
