NoScratch!

No need to resort to harmful chemicals to deter your kitten or cat from scratching on furniture. This spray is an effective training aid if used weekly on surfaces that you want to protect. No Scratch Spray will not stain or harm fabric or wood and, because it is free of harmful chemicals, it is nontoxic and harmless to cats. We do recommend, however, that you test medium- and dark-colored fabrics for colorfastness. No Scratch comes in a 16 oz bottle.

Clawing and scratching are natural instincts for any cat or kitten. NoScratch helps protect furniture, drapes, and carpets from a cat's innate desire to claw and scratch at them. NoScratch contains herbal components that, when sprayed on fabric surfaces, discourage cats from scratching. NoScratch has a mild scent. There is no unpleasant odor to tolerate and it will not stain or damage fabric.

Why cats scratch:

Cats "scratch" on items for two reasons:

1. To sharpen their claws
2. To leave scent from the sweat glands on the pads of their paws and scent glands between their pads. The scent left behind says, "I was here, and this is my territory."

Once their scent is on an object, they often return to the object and apply their scent again. It is helpful to remove the cat's scent from objects the cat has been scratching on. NoScratch is designed to keep pets away by leaving an odor they prefer not to be around.

Product will not be affected by freezing - just thaw at room temperature.
