Cat Mate® Elite Cat Flaps

Control your cats' outdoor comings and goings, or permit access to closed-off rooms in your home. Cat Mate Elite Cat Flaps allow your cat freedom and give you convenience. They feature 4-way locking and keep out unwanted animals. Each uses programmable, electronic ID discs (two discs are included) that your cat wears to gain access through the door. Only pets with the ID disc can use the flap. The programmable access options include: in and out, in only, out only, and locked. An LCD display on the top of the door shows entry/exit status. Brush-sealed flap is draft-free and weather proof. Also features a low-battery indicator. These flaps install in single/double glazing and any door panel up to 2" thick. (Special instructions apply for wall installation; see More Information.) Constructed of ABS plastic with carbonite flap. White housing. Requires 4 AA batteries, not included. Additional discs sold separately. Overall housing size: 9-3/4" x 10-1/2" high; door opening size: 5-3/4" x 6-1/2".

Selective works with up to 7 ID discs. Super Selective works with up to 8 ID discs and includes many upgrades. With this unit, you can program each individual cat's access privileges separately from the others. Its LCD display shows the entry/exit lock status, cat location, and time since the flap was last used for up to 3 selected cats. The Super Selective also features a timer function, so you can keep all your cats in at night if you wish.

Wood/Plastic Door Panels (0-2" Thick )
(Directions vary for metal/glass/wall installation - see note below.)

1.1Place exterior frame in desired position on door and draw around the cutout aperture. We recommend the bottom of the aperture is approximately 6" above ground level.

1.2Use an electric jigsaw to cut 3mm OUTSIDE of drawn line. Be careful to cut hole square to the door, particularly with thicker doors. Ensure interior frame is free fitting in hole.

1.3Determine thickness of door panel.

1.4Holding the interior frame and the exterior frame in position, mark the 2 screw holes.

1.5Remove the frames and drill screw clearance holes in panel to 6mm diameter.

1.6Position interior frame on inside of door and screw exterior frame to it by using appropriate screws for panel thickness. If necessary, cut supplied screws to length. Finally, fit two screw caps.

NOTE: The above instructions are for wood/plastic door panels only. The instructions vary slightly for UPVC/metal doors, glass panels, and wall fittings*. Please refer to instructions included in the packaging if installing a Cat Mate Elite in one of these types of doors/walls.
