Keeps the cat safe
Very sturdy and easy to install. This gate keeps our cat from getting close to the front door so we can come and go without endangering her by giving her an opportunity to get out. Highly recommend.

Great product!
We needed to keep our baby out of the laundry/litter box room, while still allowing our cats to easily get in and out. This gate works GREAT! I agree with the other reviewers - the main opening is a bit too narrow (especially when you've got a kid on your hip#, but the overall quality is excellent. My husband had to get creative and bolt the gate to the doorframe and part of the wall, as it was just a bit too wide for the doorway #I think our laundry room doorway is on the narrow side), but we manage just fine. We also put a bungee cord around the kitty door to keep it open all the time. It tends to swing when you open and close the main door, and bangs a bit.

Sturdy, well-made, easy installation
Overall I like this gate a lot, but 2 features keep me from giving it 5 stars. The opening for people to walk through is too narrow, and the stationary bar across the bottom is a tripping hazard.

Great Product
I purchased this as a barrier for my upstairs and downstairs. I wanted something that would keep my two yr old child upstairs but allow my cats to pass easily. (Currently I have a wooden gate that I removed one rail from, the problem is my two yr old child can pass through this opening also.) Initally, I was impressed with the gate, great quality, very sturdy and the installation directions read easily enough. However, the opening for the swing gate was too small to accomodate my child being carried on one side of an adult's body. Even though I reviewed the measurements, I still did not realize the opening would be so slim. In spite of this I can still see that it is great product. However large dogs and people that have wide bodies would probably have a tight fit through the swing gate. I am selling my gate on craigslist to avoid the $32 shipping fee that UPS wanted to charge.
