great, albeit small, carrier This carrier is excellent, especially the top loading feature. The carrier is good quality and easy to use. Unfortunately, as others have mentioned, it is very small, relatively speaking. When my 10-lb cat curls up in the carrier, there is no room for anything else - she can neither stand up nor turn around. The carrier is great for my 5-month old kittens, but they too will soon be too large to fit. October 13, 2012

This cat carrier makes it easy to put your cat in The top door of the cat carrier makes it very easy to put a reluctant cat in. It is nice to avoid those little kitty scratches when taking your cat to the vet. The latches are easy to use. It seems sturdy enough for the size cat that it accommodates. The price is very good compared to major pet stores. I would purchase another one. November 2, 2012

I have 6 cats, and I make sure that they can stand up fully in the crate to make sure it's sized right -- except for those quick trips to the vet (then a smaller one might be OK). I bought the soft sided carrier with 2 zippers (top and side) and one of my cats who HATES going into the hard sided crate has no issues with the soft sided one... it makes his trips to the vet much less traumatic.

Thank you for your question. The Two-Door Top-Load Kennel measures 19" x 11.5" x 10.5" high so this would not be high enough for a cat that is 15" high. We would recommend that you use a crate that is at least 2 inches higher than your cat, so your cat will be comfortable in the crate. We would recommend the Pet Den® Cat Crate, the Medium size would be 18" high, and this may be found at the below link:

yes their are different sizes. I bought the small and unless you have a kitten, it is just to small for a big cat. I have the med. size also and it is a good size. I also the large because we have 1 VERY big cat for him. They need to be able to move a little.

Also The top loader is best for loading and the side door for letting out. My vet like the top best overall.
