Great cat carrier!
My cats hate going to the vet and manage to break free from almost every carrier out there. I bought this carrier because it has multiple loading options and, of course, its futuristic look. Although I can't say my cats like it, I do. It fits well on the car seat and straps in conveniently. Assembly was not difficult at all. However, the top hatch is slightly difficult to close because everything has to line up perfectly. My only concern is that I have one cat who really hates being in a carrier and he is able to push against the front door and push it forward. I don't know if it's possible for him to actually squeeze out or detach the door altogether but I don't want to risk it either. So I keep him next to me and apply pressure to the door when he starts pushing. I feel this part of the carrier could be a little sturdier. Overall, however, I love it and will order another one soon.

Solid Product
I purchased several Cabrio Carriers for transport of the cats to a boarding facility, and also in anticipation of a long distance move. My other carriers are simply too small for anything other than a quick trip to the vet. Both my husband and I assembled them, and both of us had trouble. The instructions aren't the greatest, and the assembly is somewhat intuitive. We both had trouble aligning the carrier parts so they stay together after assembly. One of our cats exploited our inability to properly assemble her carrier and tiptoed down the hall after I thought she was firmly tucked away in her new digs. With that said, the double entry (top or front) is a great idea, the carriers are roomy enough for the average size cat to sit or lay down, and a canal around the perimeter of the floor is great for those pets with nervous bladders. The carrier is also a breeze to clean. Plus, as a bonus the use of a plastic bubble in lieu of a wire grid muffles the sounds of any protests, which is very nice when transporting multiple cats! I highly recommend this carrier, and also highly recommend a trial run for any Houdini owners.

Love it!
Love this carrier. My cat is not a cat who loves going to the vet. I bought this just so they can scoop her out from the top. My 20+ year old carrier had to have all the screws taken out of it to extract her from the carrier. This carrier was easy to put together. You did have to put a little muscle behind some of the parts to snap them together. We put it together and put it on the floor and my cat went right in. Didn't even mind the door being closed behind her. Love the big front window and the larger slits on the side. We leave it out for her and I have found her sound asleep inside. She definitely gave it a 5 paw rating!
