Great interactive toy
The Kitty Kopter by Go Cat is a great product! If your cat loves birds, this will be fun for him. My cats like it best when I rub the feathers between my fingers first or rub the toy on a surface. That gets their attention so that when I throw the bird they go tearing after it! They love it best when I throw it behind the couch or onto newspaper, kinda like a real hunt! If your cat likes to run, this is a good toy for him. Not so good if he's more of a stalker/pouncer. Love that Go Cat products are American made! It does matter and it is one of the reasons that I bought this product and continue to buy refills for their other product, Da Bird!

My kitty likes it
Good quality toy that has endured many attacks. My 15 y/o cat likes bird toys and this one gets him going.

My cat's favorite "play alone" toy
My youngest cat has always been crazy for "da Bird" to the point of standing under the shelf it's kept on and crying for it. The last time I put replacement feathers on it, he got a hold of the part I was discarding and proceeded to play happily with it for two hours straight; after a restorative cat nap he was right back at it. I remembered, as I watched him, that the company that made Da Bird also sold this kitty kopter thing, and since the design was similar Zeppo might really enjoy it. He does, enormously. Zeppo is a high energy, easily bored cat whose companion cats are much older than he and not interested in playing with him too often, and his companion humans, unfortunately, have to work for a living. The Kitty Kopter is one of two toys he has that allow him to run and play and have a good time by himself. Thank goodness for it. I'm sure he'll destroy it in short order -- he's good at that -- but at this price, it's easile replaceable and worth it for the fun he has.

Pretty cool, but short lived.
The Kitty Kopters are a neat toy, but like other feathered toys, they don't last very long with cats. I have purchased several and while they don't come apart, they don't fly as well as in the beginning because these are natural feathers and damage easily. The cats get a considerable amount of enjoyment, but it is temporary. I save them for special times of play.
