I celebrate this product!
My extremely vocal demanding 15 year old female Ragdoll is a 24/7 loud noise maker. We hoped she would out grow this as she matured- it has only gotten worse. With my Vet over the years, we have tried everything to modify this behavior. Nothing has worked or lasted. I mix a small amount of this product in her wet food and she is a completely different cat. It just mellows her out. First time, I put a small amount in her water and food - so that everything would have the same scent. She didn't hesitate. I was concerned that the product does contain alcohol preservatives with an odor and that would discourage her, but it didn't . I've used it for over 4 months now with total success. For some reason she prefers "Good Cat" over "Calm Down"- same manufacturer, different label/name, but she can tell the difference. Drs. Foster & Smith is one of the few places that keep "Good Cat" in stock. Hope they will continue to keep "Good Cat" available- it has been a lifesaver for my household.

This stuff is wonderful. My cat was having some behavioral issues. She's young, 6 months, and was taken from her mother very early. She seemed to think that biting was appropriate. She would also race around the house, an actual blur, and leap at the dog and bite at my ankles. As soon as I started using "Good Cat" she calmed down. She still has a moment or so every few days but nothing like she did. Between the "Good Cat" and the spray bottle of water, we've cured her of biting. I trust this product's safety. It claims it won't hurt your other animals and so far it hasn't seemed to affect the dog at all. I'd recommend this product to all owners of overactive cats.
