This economical mix contains 30% CareFRESH Natural soft bedding with 70% softwood shavings. Soft bedding promotes natural behaviors like burrowing and nesting, while providing warmth for sleeping. 100% biodegradable and compostable bedding is earth- friendly as well as comfortable. CareFRESH Basic Blend is made from reclaimed fiber and forest by-products, both sustainable resources, and it has outstanding odor control, to keep your ferret's habitat fresher longer. Basic Blend is safe for ferrets and families, although we do not recommend using this blend in an enclosed habitat such as an aquarium.
