Measuring your horse for the turnout
Measure from the center point of the chest, over the high point of the shoulder, and to the rear of the hind leg. Rambo blankets are sized in three inch increments. If you measure between sizes, round down for Rambo blankets.

Placing your turnout on your horse

Make sure that the tail is lifted over the fillet strap and that the strap is securely attached on both sides. This will prevent the blanket from blowing forward. Where possible pull the tail through the strapping on the inside of the tail flap.
When closing the surcingles on a blanket secure the middle one first and then cross over the 2 outer surcingles. Make sure the surcingle hangs at least 4 to 8 inches below the horse's belly.
