To hang, simply attach a rope to Hangin' Ball's leader rope. Hang in the stall above your horse's eye level. To make this product last longer, hang the ball so that your horse cannot pin it against the wall. One ball can last from a week to a month, depending on the aggressiveness of your horse and how you hang the ball.
