Build an electric fence to enclose any size pasture and protect any horse. Large spools of electric equine fence polytape, polyrope, or polywire are economically priced to save you money. Each is fashioned from UV-stabilized polymer webbing for long-lasting, weather-resistant use. Imbedded amongst the polymer fibers are stainless steel conductors that resist rust and maintain fence strength and electrical conductivity. High visibility materials alert your horses, ponies, other equines, livestock, and people to the fence's presence. Ideal for any enclosure system, from temporary pastures to rotational grazing areas. Use with existing wire or board fences for an additional level of control and security. Not designed to function under extreme tension.
Polytape is available in widths of 1/2" (5-strands of electrical conductors; breaking load of 150 lbs), 1"(6-strands of electrical conductors; breaking load of 320 lbs), and 2" (14-strands of electrical conductors; breaking load of 890 lbs) Great, high visibility electric pasture fence solution. White/Black.
Polyrope is available in a 656-foot spool with 6-strands of conductors and a breaking load of 820 lbs. Offers additional strength and fray-resistance to any pasture enclosure. White.
Polywire is a strong, economical alternative to polyrope with yellow/black color patterns for increased visibility. Polywire is available with 6-strands of electrical conductors (breaking load of 180 lbs) in spools of 656- or 1,320-feet. Jumbo Polywire, with 9-strands of electrical conductors (breaking load of 310 lbs) comes in spools of 656 and 1,320-feet.

Use Instructions
Polytape, polyrope, and polywire are for use with existing wire or board fences for an additional level of control and security. Not designed to function under extreme tension.
Maintain an adequate border around your fence, free from structures, vegetation, etc. Check electric fence, energizer, and all fence components on a regular basis to ensure each is properly functioning. Do not allow snow to build up on the fence as it may break the wire or tape.
Always hang appropriate warning signs in visible locations around your property when using electric fence systems to contain horses and other livestock.
Fence Laws
Most states have laws defining what constitutes a legal partition fence, fence along a highway, or a fence along a railway. Local ordinances usually specify acceptable fencing between adjacent home lots. In addition, local laws may prohibit the use of electric fence energizers. A permit may be required in some cases. Check your local ordinances to determine if a permit is needed.
Tips
Mount electric fence signs in visible areas to identify electrified wires. These signs are available at most local hardware or livestock stores.
Inform all property visitors - especially children - about the location and operation of electric fences.
Instruct all property visitors how to disconnect the energizer in case of emergency.
Never climb over an electric fence wire while it is electrically energized.
Never install an electric fence below high-voltage power plant transmission lines.
Never use more than one electric fence energizer on the same fence.
For maximum safety and effectiveness, ensure your electric fence is properly grounded at all times.
