K&H Manufacturing Cord Safety Clip

Help safely secure your de-icer cord - or any cord in your stable to prevent tripping or horse chewing. Great for securing de-icers to pails, buckets, or stock tanks. Durable, hard-wearing plastic clip has a curved inner groove which fits most electrical cords to keep them out of the way so you can avoid stumbling accidents. It also keeps cords from curious horses, who may chew on dangerous electrical cords. This clip may be used with electrical cords with or without protective coating. 1. Position your de-icer (or other electrical equipment) and determine where you would like the cord to exit the stock tank, bucket, or other area in your stable.
2. When you have determined where you would like the cord to exit, loop the cord into roughly the shape of the safety clip.
3. Place the looped cord into the grooved portion of the clip. The flared end of the clip should be on the outside of the stock tank or bucket, if you are using it for that purpose.
4. When the cord has been placed into the clip, plus the clip with the cord over the side of the stock tank or bucket. Hook it to any convenient; out of the way place in the stable if you are using it for other electrical cords.
5. The clip should now be secured. It may slide from side to side but should remain clipped.
