Help support and maintain normal balance in the digestive system by providing with three types of digestive support in a flax seed base. Micro-encapsulated probiotics, digestive enzymes and live yeast cultures support normal digestion in performance horses and support the normal growth of beneficial bacteria. Microencapsulation is a physical barrier that ensures stability of the probiotics during early digestion, so the nutrients can be absorbed during the stages of digestion for which they're needed. Feed daily and during times of stress, heavy work schedules and competitions. Each package contains up to 60 servings.

What are probiotics?
Probiotics are live microorganisms, including bacteria (e.g. Lactobacillus species) and yeast (e.g. Saccharomyces species), which support a horse's healthy digestive system. Owners may choose to give these types of products at any time, including after worming, when horses are on antibiotics, and with older horses. Because probiotics contain living organisms, storage of these products is important. They must be stored in a cool place; refrigeration is necessary for some products. Be sure to use the product before any expiration date included on the label.
Handy chart gives comparison information on digestive supplements, which are used primarily to ensure that the horse's digestive and intestinal tracts stay healthy, efficient and disease free.

Ulcers are a common medical condition in horses & foals. It is estimated that almost 50% of foals and 1/3 of adult horses confined in
stalls may have mild ulcers. Up to 60% of show horses and 90% of racehorses may develop moderate to severe ulcers.
