For lactating mares: Following the mineral and vitamin requirements of pregnancy, a lactating mare is called upon to produce several liters of milk daily, and she will at the expense of her own vitamin-mineral requirement. Mare Plus is designed for fast assimilation by the dam to supplement her diet and meet the vitamin-mineral requirements of the suckling foal.
For stallions in service: Mare Plus should be used as an added precaution to ensure the diet is adequately supplemented with vitamins, calcium, phosphorous and trace minerals. For assurance of adequate vitamin-mineral requirements, supplement the broodmares and stallions of breeding operations.
