Scavenges free radicals |
Training, competition or aging can lead to degradation of cartilage and the synovial fluid, the shock absorbing fluid in the joints. The active ingredient in HylaMotion is hyaluronic acid, or HA, a major component of equine cartilage and synovial fluid. HA improves joint function by lubricating joints, helping to maintain structural integrity, and increasing the thickness level of the synovial fluid. Including HA in the management of joint pain may protect the joint by increasing the viscosity of the joint fluid, reducing inflammation and scavenging free radicals. Free radicals are components of cells that can cause damage to the cell. Can be used as an alternative to, or in conjunction with intravenous or intra-articular HA. Provides 100 mg HA per 1/2 oz. serving. This alfalfa-based supplement is ideal for horses with joint pain or those facing the strains of aging, training or competition. Includes 1/2 oz scoop. For horses.
Suggested use: Give 1/2 oz daily, or as directed by your veterinarian.

What is Hyaluronic Acid?
Hyaluronic acid is a main component of synovial fluid. With joint injury, destructive enzymes break down the hyaluronic acid and the joint loses the cushioning effect of the synovial fluid.
