Supports proper structure and function of synovial fluid, joints, and connective tissue health. Excellent support for horses with sprains, strains, and ligament problems. Powerful, veterinarian-formulated blend contains perna mussel, a rich source of glycosaminoglycans (GAGs), and glucosamine HCl. Both of these ingredients provide the building blocks of cartilage, and are necessary to synthesize new cartilage. Manganese is also necessary for the synthesis of cartilage and joint fluid. Also included is methylsulfonylmethane (MSM), a bioavailable sulfur, used in the production of collagen, a component of cartilage. MSM has also been promoted as having anti-inflammatory properties. All of these ingredients are blended together in palatable alfalfa pellets. Delicious apple/molasses flavor. Includes 1-oz scoop. For horses.
Suggested use: 3 scoops twice daily, for 4-6 weeks. Then drop back to 1 scoop twice daily divided between a.m. and p.m. For horses over 1,200 lbs, add 1 additional scoop daily.
