For around-the-clock support, try MaxFlex XR Extended Release Joint Formula. These granules feature a slow-release delivery of the active ingredients, for 24-hour joint care. This formula contains 5,000 mg glucosamine per 1/2 ounce serving, plus MSM, chondroitin, Vitamin C, hyaluronic acid, and manganese. Glucosamine is found naturally in the bodies of animals and is a natural precursor of glycosaminoglycans, which are found in the cartilage and connective tissue of all animals. Includes 1/2 ounce scoop.

Suggested use: Pellets: Loading: 3 oz per day with regular grain ration for initial loading dose (3 to 4 weeks). Maintenance: 1 oz with regular grain ration. Usage based on an 1,100 lb adult horse. Extended Release Granules: Give one scoop (1/2 oz) once a day.
