Not for dogs who love to chew unless supervised.
I ordered an unscented Jolly Ball for my large breed dog who loves to chew and play with toys. It arrived while we were out of town but I told my pet sitter that she could give it to him to see how he liked it. The ball was a big hit. She emailed us that he took it by the handle and ran around, then dropped and it bounced and then he bounced. He LOVED it. She said he was still playing with it when she went back to her house next door.
The following day we received our usual email update and were told "the ball was a goner". She felt so bad that she had left it outside with him and he had quite few hours to gnaw on it. Although that one only lasted one day, I purchased another and only give it to our dog while we are actively playing - it is so fun to watch him play with it.
I also rigged one up to hang from a branch of a tree, sort of a dog tether-ball. Of course I had to make it so that he couldn't chew the rope by running it through a piece of PVC and had to cover the handle with a durable plastic cover.
I would recommend this for dogs but if they are chewers, make sure you remove it from their area when you're not there.
It's not indestructible like I had hoped but then it was not advertised as such.

Nice to deal with
I purchased two Jolly Ball 10" for my dog and he loves these toys,and he beats the heck out of them..Great product.. and I love the smell as I got him the apple one. I will also get him the 8" balls with a handle.

Jolly Ball for Horse awesome for your dogs too!!!
I have a German Shepherd and A Lab Cross they both love playing with these Jolly Balls for Horses. My Lab is a Mr Destructo with a lot of dog toys(especially the Jolly Balls for Dogs) but these have lasted and they are still playing with them after 6 weeks. Would certainly recommend for anyone with big dogs. They just love chasing after them, chewing them and shaking them around. Thanks Heaps.

Awesome Toy
My dog loves this. Takes it everywhere with him and the apple smell is wonderful.
