Daily equine feed additive helps keep your horse parasite free. Delicious alfalfa pellets are combined with one of two concentrations of pyrantel tartrate for effective, multi-stage parasite control. Simply mix the recommended amount with your horse's daily grain ration. Safe for use with all horses, including foals, pregnant mares in any stage, and stallions. Equi Aid CW Continuous Wormer includes 2.11% pyrantel to control adult large and small strongyles, pinworms, and ascarids, as well as larval stages of Strongylus vulgaris. Feed 1/2 oz per 250 pounds body weight daily. 10 lb or 50 lb buckets worm a 1000 lb horse for 80 or 400 days, respectively. Pyrantel tartrate-based feed additive targets the neuromuscular system of parasites, which paralyzes them and moves them harmlessly out of the horse's system. Since your horse is fed the wormer on a daily basis, the parasites are removed as they enter the intestine. Consequently, horses fed Equi Aid CW or SW can live nearly worm free.

Targets and controls large strongyles (adults), small strongyles (adult and fourth stage larvae), pinworms, and ascarids (adults and fourth stage larvae).

Equi Aid CW Continuous Wormer - Use Instructions

Administer on a continuous basis as a top dress on the horse's daily ration. Feed at the rate of 1.2 mg pyrantel tatrate per pound of body weight per day. To achieve this dose, administer 0.5 ounces of CW Continuous Wormer per 250 lbs of body weight. CW Continuous Wormer should be administered for the entire period that the animal is at risk to internal parasites. Unprotected animals that have grazed may already have an established Strongylus vulgaris larval infestation. Before administering CW Continuous Wormer, these animals should be treated with a therapeutic dose of a larvicidal product.

Foals may be fed CW Continuous Wormer at such a time when consistent intake of grain mix is occurring. This is generally between two and three months old. CW Continuous Wormer may be used in mares at any stage of pregnancy or lactation. Stallion fertility is not affected by the use of CW Continuous Wormer.

NOTE: A 1 oz measuring scoop is enclosed in each package. One level scoop treats 500 lbs of body weight.

Caution:
Consult your veterinarian before using in severely debilitated animals and for assistance in the diagnosis, treatment and control of parasitism. Do not mix in feeds containing bentonite. Not for use in horses intended for food.
