• The Vicenza Cabinet is designed to completely coordinate with the Vicenza Aquarium. Two reversible front panels allow you to choose the one that matches your color scheme at initial construction. Black Canopy/Oak Trim option features a light Oak cabinet with doors that reverse from light Oak to Mocha. Black Canopy /Silver Trim (180 only) option features a Black cabinet with doors that reverse from Black to Silver.
• Vicenza canopy houses a powerful GLO T5 high output lighting system, easily controlled with a timer. Power-GLO T-5 Bulbs included.
• The Vicenza is powered by a Fluval Multi-Stage 05 Series External Canister Filter. The filter hoses connect directly through the aquarium base. This innovative feature allows easy filter start up. Maximize location
Setup your aquarium in a room where you spend most of your time. By doing so, you can fully enjoy the results of your endeavor. An aquarium placed in a back room or basement may not receive the care or attention it needs. There is also a greater chance of fish disease or equipment malfunction to remain unnoticed. Choose a room where you can view and take pleasure in your aquatic system. But be sure to place your aquarium where it is easily accessible for regular and convenient maintenance.

Easy access to electrical outlets and a water source
Electrical outlets need to be close enough to plug in aquarium equipment without the use of extension cords. Extension cords are not only a tripping hazard, but a tangle of cords is a serious electrical hazard. If possible, locate your aquarium close to your water supply. This helps make crucial water changes and other aquarium maintenance easier for you.

Avoid proximity to heat/AC vents and exterior entrances
Stable water temperature is essential for fish health. Heating and air conditioning vents, as well as exterior entrances and windows, can drastically alter the temperature in the surrounding area. Do not place your aquarium near these areas. It is also very important to keep your aquarium out of direct sunlight. Exposure to direct sunlight can encourage aggressive algae growth, as well as higher water temperatures.

Select a structurally stable and level location
Once fully set up, aquariums weigh at least 10 pounds per gallon. In other words, even a 10-gallon aquarium will weigh a cumbersome 100 pounds! For aquariums larger than 30 gallons, ask yourself this question, "Will the floor be able to support the weight of the aquarium once it's set up?" Most new residential flooring should not pose any structural problems. However, if you have any doubt, consult and verify with a professional to make sure your flooring is capable of supporting the weight of your aquarium setup. Also, inspect the floor and check to see if it is level. An uneven surface makes it impossible to fill your aquarium completely. An unstable aquarium is also more inclined to tip over or spring a leak.
