The PadLite shines 8 watts of bright 12,000K white LED lighting into your covered freshwater aquarium, saltwater aquarium, or reef aquarium. The PadLite is designed to sit directly on your aquarium glass top; it's the easiest LED light fixture you'll ever install. It's perfect for nano aquariums, but great for larger aquariums, too, when you combine 2 or more PadLites.

The PadLite LED lamps emit no heat and are rated for up to 50,000 hours - you'll never replace lamps. Plus, the PadLite is extremely energy-efficient, costing you less than $6/year in electricity. Constructed of solid, highly recyclable aluminum, the PadLite is also completely water-resistant and low voltage, so you'll never need to be concerned with a little moisture.

You can also easily add more color to your PadLite. The lighting fixture is plug-in ready, and easy to upgrade with an additional TrueLumen LED Strip. Simply choose your color: 453nm Actinic Blue, Rose Red, 12K/453nm Actinic Blue, 12K/Rose Red, or 12K white.

Each TrueLumen PadLite includes connection cables, a UL-listed 12V transformer, and a 3-way splitter.

• Always use over a covered aquarium.
• Ensure water and/or salt creep does not come in contact with lighting connections.
• We recommend using a 24-hour timer with this product for dawn/dusk control.
• Ensure LED transformer is plugged into a GFCI and using a drop loop.

On-tank installation:

• Ensure glass top is installed on aquarium.
• Set PadLight on aquarium and connect splitter to PadLight and transformer.
• Plug 12V transformer into 24-hour timer and/or GFCI outlet.
• If adding additional LED strip, attach strip using 3M adhesive, plug into 3-way splitter.
• Ensure PadLight, LED strips, and electrical connections are kept clean and free of moisture, mineral deposits, and salt creep. Corrosion from salt water will void manufacturer warranty.
