Frontline Flea & Tick Control. . . No Prescription Required PLUS Free Shipping!**
Long-lasting, fast acting flea and tick control. Frontline Plus contains fipronil, a flea adulticide. Fipronil works by affecting the parasite's (the flea's or tick's) nervous system causing paralysis and death of the parasite. Fipronil spreads over the pet's body with the body oils killing 98-100% of the fleas or ticks within 24-48 hours, and controlling transmission of tick-borne disease, such as Lyme disease. Fipronil collects in the oils of the skin and hair follicles and then is released over time (up to 1 month) from the hair follicles onto the skin and hair. Frontline Plus kills adult fleas just like Frontline, and contains an ingredient called methoprene, that kills flea eggs and larvae, to keep all stages of fleas from developing and bothering your pets and your family. Methoprene mimics the juvenile growth hormone of fleas, keeping the larvae from molting and developing into more mature forms. Frontline Plus delivers total, effective flea prevention to your pet. Frontline Plus stays on even with bathing, swimming, or exposure to sunlight. Approved for use on puppies 8 weeks of age and older. Looking for Frontline for Dogs? Frontline is also available in cat formula! Please click on "More Information" for active ingredients and how to apply Frontline or Frontline Plus. Please note: Due to limited availability of Frontline & Frontline Plus, it has become necessary for us to limit purchase quantities to (10) 6-packs or (20) 3-packs of each item per order. Thank you for helping ensure Frontline remains available to more pets throughout flea & tick season. We apologize for any inconvenience. |
| Frontline® Plus for dogs and puppies over 8 weeks old. For dogs over 132 pounds use the appropriate combination. Directions: To kill fleas and all stages of brown dog ticks, American dog ticks, lone star ticks and deer ticks (the major carrier of Lyme disease). Hold applicator upright and snap applicator tip away from face and body. Place applicator tip through dog's hair to the skin level between the shoulder blades. Squeeze applicator, applying entire contents in a single spot to the dog's skin. Avoid superficial application to the dog's hair. Only one applicator per treatment is needed. Frequency of application: Research demonstrates that Frontline® Plus kills fleas up to three months and ticks for at least one month. A once monthly use is recommended where there is a high risk of reinfestation, if the pet has fleas, which may cause flea allergy dermatitis, or in situations where tick control is needed. When used monthly Frontline® Plus completely controls both flea and tick infestations. In areas with less severe flea infestations or in areas where ticks are not a threat, Frontline® Plus can be applied once every two to three months. Frontline® Plus remains effective even after bathing, water immersion, or exposure to sunlight. Avoid contact with treated area until dry. Do not reapply Frontline® Plus for 30 days. | Q. | Do I need a prescription to order? |
|---|---|
| A. | No. This is an over-the-counter flea & tick product available without any prescription required. |
| Q. | How quickly does FRONTLINE flea and tick protection kill parasites? |
|---|---|
| A. | Research has shown that FRONTLINE for dogs will kill 100% of your dog's fleas within 24 hours and kills 100% of your dog's ticks within 48 hours of application. |
| Q. | Do fleas and ticks have to bite my dog for FRONTLINE to work? |
|---|---|
| A. | No. FRONTLINE supplies your dog with protection if fleas simply come into contact with your dog's coat within the post-application time periods mentioned above. |
| Q. | I just applied FRONTLINE, but I still see active fleas. Why? |
|---|---|
| A. | Fipronil, an active ingredient of FRONTLINE, works by blocking stabilizing ions in the neurons of invertebrates like fleas. Without the stabilizing ions, the fleas die from hyperstimulation. This means that the fleas may become slightly more active just before they die. However, you should rest assure that this is a sign that FRONTLINE is working.
|
| Q. | I treated my dog with FRONTLINE, but I still see fleas in my home. Why? |
|---|---|
| A. | The fleas you see may have hatched from flea eggs that were laid before you began using FRONTLINE for dogs. Regular application of FRONTLINE flea and tick protection to your dog will break the flea's life cycle.
|
| Q. | How does FRONTLINE kill fleas before they can lay eggs on my dog? |
|---|---|
| A. | An adult flea must be present on your dog for at least 24 to 36 hours before it can lay eggs. Research indicates that FRONTLINE will kill your dog's fleas within 24 hours of application--before the fleas can lay eggs. |
| Q. | Which FRONTLINE product is right for my dog? |
|---|---|
| A. | FRONTLINE Plus is a convenient once-a-month topical product offering the longest-lasting, most complete protection against adult fleas, flea eggs and larvae, and all four major species of ticks. FRONTLINE Top Spot provides fast-acting, long-lasting flea and tick control for dogs. Ask your veterinarian which FRONTLINE product is the best choice for your dog.
|
| Q. | Can FRONTLINE be used on pets other than dogs? |
|---|---|
| A. | No. FRONTLINE is intended for use on dogs only. Do not use on other animals. For cats, Frontline has a formula made just for them. |
| Q. | Can FRONTLINE be reapplied before the 30-day treatment interval is up? |
|---|---|
| A. | FRONTLINE products should not need to be applied more than the label recommendations. |

For years I used a product not targeted towards eliminating ticks. Unfortunately, my Golden Retriever got ticks and the grasscloth wallcovering near her bed also became infested. The exterminator has taken care of the wallcovering, and Frontline Plus® has kept my dog flea and tick free for more than three years! |

I have 4 dogs and live in a buggy area outside of Chicago. I have my dogs on Frontline Plus all year around. I know if we get a 40 degree day in January these fleas are hardy and they also lay dormant until it is warm. If my dogs are not protected it will jump right on one or all of them. I have 2 old cats also and it would endanger their lives. It's costly but I made a commitment when I took the dogs and I will take care of them. Also they are on a heartworm medication all year and I am glad as just last night I killed a mosquito in my house and this is almost December! We also have mice come in and squirrels in the yard and all these animals have fleas. Not to mention the long life of a flea. I like Frontline Plus the best as it kills ALL stages of fleas. I bathe dogs for a groomer and I can't believe the fancy and expensive dogs that come in and are loaded with fleas! |

I highly recommend Frontline Plus. It is what I call a "miracle" product. I use it faithfully and have no fleas - even if a flea or tick gets on my dogs while outside, after they bite once they die. This product can really clean up your house and yard as well as your precious dog. |

I have used Frontline® and Frontline Plus® for over three years and I highly recommend it to everyone. It not only kills the fleas on my dog but my house is not infested anymore. My yard still has fleas due to the squirrels that come and go, but it is not infested like it was three years ago. |

I switched to Frontline® from another product because the other product caused my dog to scratch himself excessively and lose a good amount of hair. Frontline® has caused neither of these problems. Plus, I've seen no more ticks on him - a miracle since we live in the woods. I highly recommend Frontline®. |

I've used Frontline® for a number of years now. I've tried other cheaper types of flea control and they did not work. I have 12 cats and 4 dogs and Frontline® has taken care of my flea problems on all of them. |

We had a real bad infestation with fleas on all 3 of our dogs and we had bite marks everywhere on our bodies. It was getting to be real bad when you can't even sit in your own furniture cause fleas would be jumping on you. Even when we go to bed, they would be crawling all over us. We started Frontline Plus just a month ago from yesterday and together with a flea comb, we have almost gotten rid of fleas completely. We can actually sit on the couch or lay in bed without being attacked by fleas. I think by another month, we should be free from fleas. My bite marks are finally healing now, I am very sensitive to bug bites so I have swollen mounds all over me. We will be using Frontline all year long from now on. |

Frontline + is the flea med of choice for my 65 lb chow mix. Never has a flea touched him for 16 months until I tried a competitive brand. Back to Frontline + for us in sunny Southern California. |

I bought BioSpot because it was half the price of some of the other brands. My dogs went out to the country for 2 hours and came back loaded with ticks. I just bought the more expensive Frontline recommended by my vet. |

I'd been using Frontline Plus, but decided to try the K9 Advantix because of the recommendations. I was very disappointed. I've gone back to the Frontline, which always worked wonderfully, even tho we have deer and squirrels in our yard, so always a tick problem unless we use protection on the dogs. Frontline works great, and the dogs do not mind it at all when I apply it. |

I tried a cheaper pet store brand of flea and tick control on my dogs. One of them had a terrible allergic reaction to the medicine and began gasping for air. It took two baths and two hours for her to begin to breathe normally. Our vet told us that Frontline was tested to insure that dogs would not have allergic reactions to the formula. We have 9 rescued dogs and we will never use anything but Frontline again. |
