Is there a type of pond de-foamer?

My pond is clear but i have a lot of foam that I clean out twice a day.

sounds like DOC's (dissolved organic compositions) in your water table. I had that issue but my pond has koi and I try to never add any chemicals so for an immediate solution I started doing water changes twice a week. Then I built a foam fractionator to my filter system which helped eliminate this issue for good. Still do the water changes but for other reasons. Look at koiphen for a easy do it yourself foam fractionator.

I need help with a very Green Pond. Its a year old, have a UV filter large pumps etc.

The pond is 20X35 and 4-1/2 ft. deep. Gets shade all afternoon, have some water lillies, no other plants. No fish, just frogs that I want to keep. Have drained it 3 X's trying to keep it clean. It has three water falls and about 35-40 ft. of stream going to pond. Have tried barley, and some chemicals , but doesn't help. Afraid to use harsh chemicals due to dogs and frogs. Can you suggest anything to help please.

High Ph water pond ecffect my fish?

My fish before are very happy and healthy after I add plant in to the pond( couple Bucket of water lily with top soil and Gavel on top ) after that I note algae grow green around pond liner now my fish always look like tired some fish is jumping on top of water some lay down on the bottom of pond I did test the water Ph to high about 9.0 ( the test water is dark blue.) Is the water in the pond effect my fish? and what can i do now?

Thank you for your question. There are several different ways to influence your water's pH. There are chemical additives that can be added directly to the water that will either raise or lower the pH. More natural agents can be used to alter water pH as well. Peat in the tank or filter will acidify the water. Mineral salts like calcium that are found in limestone or in some shells will cause an increase in alkalinity and pH. There is one important consideration in altering the pH of water and that relates to the mineral content (hardness) of the water. Remember that fish are very sensitive to changes in pH, and rapid changes in pH can cause extreme stress and death. Fish should not be exposed to a change in pH greater than 0.3 in a 24-hour period.
