The following guide is for retro-fitting existing "Nano Aquarium" canopies with LED lighting. Most Nano Aquariums (Aqua One, Fluval, HaiLea, Resun, Boyu, Jebo, Nano Cubes, Biocubes) utilize compact fluorescent light or old fluorescent style lighting. Replacing this type of lighting with LED lighting will add the shimmer effect, eliminate replacement lamp costs, provide dramatic energy savings and LEDs produce no heat transfer.
