Materials you'll need:

• Pine cones
• Spool of string
• Peanut butter
• Mixed bird seed (pour in a dish)
• Scissors
• Butter knife

Directions
STEP ONE: Loop a piece of string around each pine cone and tie a knot to secure the string. Leave another 20" of spare string after the knot to hang the pine cone.

STEP TWO: Use a butter knife to spread peanut butter over each pine cone.

STEP THREE: Dip the pine cone into the dish of mixed seed, coating it entirely.

STEP FOUR: Go outside and hang the pine cone around a tree branch using the hanging string.

STEP FIVE: Watch the birds come and dine on the seed!
