What wavemaker wiuld be recommended for my 75 gallon fresh water tank with live plants

I have live live plants in my aquarium and the plants gather what seems to be dirt that sticks to the plants and I tried rubbing it off , with little sucess.I thought with a circulation pump moving the plants around,,I might prevent most of this.

That brown stuff is called diatoms. It's not dirt, but a living organism that naturally clings to plants during the first few weeks of a planted tank being set up. It's fine to just wait it out and let it go away on its own, but if it's and eyesore you can purchase a few oto's (otocinclus), and they will eat the diatoms pretty quickly. Just be sure you research what they need and that you have sufficient resources for them once they've done their job.

Could you provide more details about your setup?
i.e what (substrate, live plants, what equipment your using, etc etc.)

when asking for aquarium advice providing details is key.
It does sound simply like loose debris and increased circulation should help. do u have any type of fish that enjoy re-arranging things or stirring up dirt? if its sticking that much to no prevail it could be related to water quality, try observing any changes after a 15% water change.

Thank you for your question. As freshwater aquariums typically will require circulation to prevent dead spots in the tank, the use of a wavemaker is not normally necessary. Wavemakers are more commonly utilized in reef aquarium setups to replicate natural ocean water flow for the growth and development of corals. If you are looking to create additional water flow for a freshwater setup, we suggest looking into adding small powerheads to dead spots within your aquarium.

Looking for a low flow wave maker for a 20gal salt tank.. Recomendations?

I have a newly started 20gal tank purchased as a kit. So many wave makers advertise how great the volume of water they push is, but my tank is small and has decent flow from the canister filter the tank came equips w/ however w it being offset it leaves a corner of the tank w very little current and I'm concerned how this may adversely affect anemone I plan to add after the tank completes it's first cycle. Can you recommend a week or adjustable flow wave maker, or else would it be prudent to use a second canister filter such as the duet or tetra systems?
