Answer:
Of the corals you mention, only the dendros and gorgonians are non-photosynthetic and thus require feeding of meaty foods on a regular basis. That said, any coral with a mouth will eat meaty foods - but probably don't need to to survive. I find that if I broadcast a little of the food in the tank or near the target, corals will extend their feeding polyps usually within about 5-10 minutes. Once I see the feeding polyps ( large polyp stonies predominantly) I can then use a sea squirt or turkey basted to "dust" the water immediately surrounding the animal. Shrooms can eat a pretty good size chunk of fish or shrimp (say a quarter of their entire size - though I've seen them eat pieces larger than themselves). You can just set a piece of uncooked table shrimp on their disc and they should begin to close around the food immediately. Again, they don't need to eat to survive. Thrive and reproduce - they need periodic feedings. In summary, if your corals look healthy and are growing, don't worry too much about how much they appear to eat (except the dendro - it'll die without regular feeding - on each polyp). Hope that helps!
