Can I use PVC glue when adding a pipe a sump/refuge to a live reef tank?

I am adding a 15 gal sump / refuge to my 29 biocube. I have to drill the back with diamond core bits. Then I am adding a 1" and 1/2â€? bulkheads. I am going to use PVC to connect tank to sump / refuge. Should I have concern using glue and PVC?

I never had a problem. I just made sure it was made for potable water lines. Most of them are, though.
