Can ferrets also play with dog toys?

Can a ferret play with dog toys too? I know rubber isn't good for other small animals. Is it safe?

Best products for ferrets?

Answer:

Thank you for your question. Catnip does not have the same effect on a ferret that it does on a cat. A cat will get a sense of "euphoria" from the catnip and a ferret will not. Ferrets have a very distinct sense of smell and more than likely will leave the catnip alone. Catnip can be harmful if your ferret is allergic to it otherwise it is fine for a ferret.
