window perch with inside/outside access

Looking for perch with screening on outside of house where I can shut window and leave cat for period
of time then open window and let cat back in

About 12 years ago, I found a private manufacturer of a window air-conditioner style unit with screens for the walls, and a solid plexi-glass top and bottom. The access side had a door that allowed you to open it or close it (and lock it), so that you could control your cat's access. It was made of aluminum/metal, was completely self-contained, and was very sturdy. Additionally, I was able to install it myself. Unfortunately, I donated it to a Massachusetts animal shelter. I've been trying for the last 4 years to find it again. I believe I located the manufacturer in a Cat Fancy magazine. I'm sorry it's not a lot of help as far as where to get one, but there is hope because it did exist.

Larger Cat Perches

What happened to the bigger Cat perches? I bought a couple about 5 years ago and my cats love them. They're much bigger and sturdier. I've had as many 3 full sized cats sleeping together in the same perch. I have a double window in the back room and keep on for each window. The blankets for them are getting worn and need replacements and I've love to by more perches for other rooms.

Will I have to leave my window open to accommodate #3906 perch? I have not made-up my mind which perch to order.

I have a Maine Coon and 2 gray tabbies and they all want to perch in the same window. They are getting so big now that they fall off the sill when they fall asleep. (If truth be known, they have fallen off the bed when they fell soundly asleep). Maybe this will stop the competition and make the "windowsill naps" a little safer?? Oh dear, I think I had better get more than one...
