Answer:

The only one I know of is the iRoomba - an electronic vacuum cleaner that runs around picking-up whatever is on the floor. I'm not sure about any programming required. Check on-line for it.

Stressful Cat

My kitten jumped over the wall about 3months ago and she was gone for 10 days, luckely we found her on the neigbours roof. Since then she is very anxious, she runs and hide under the bed or crawls in under my comforter on my bed, when family and friends come to visit even though she knows them since I had her when she was 7 weeks old. She is now 9months old. She only tolerates my husband and myself. We have 3 other cats and a dog but she is fine when around them. How do I help her to be less stressfull and anxious around others.

my black cat had the same issues- i found that feeding the other 3 of my cats one cat per room door shut,(food hoarding issues) gave me some one to one time w/ the black cat. when she was feeling comfortable after feeding, i would engage her in play. after a few weeks, i had a friend stop by during play time. friend engaged her in play, grooming and gave treats. cycled friends in/out . it's taken a while, but she's better about people in the house. i also have 2 rules for visitors- ignore the cats, and no chasing the cats. they will get inquisitive and come see what is going on.
there is no quick fix, just consistency in routine.

First let me say that Jessica is beautiful!!, and I'm so glad you found her!!
Secondly, why are you letting your cats outside? There's nothing out there they need. You've already experienced one bad thing that comes from letting them out.
Thirdly, there are several calming products available in this catalog. Personally, I have used the Feliway Comfort Zone plug-ins, and found they work nicely - we have 12 kitties that range from 11 weeks to 10 years, so we experience the occasional spat, there is also the Calming Collar, Rescue Remedy in drops or spray, and Pet-Ease Paw-Gel. It's just a matter of what you think will work best on Jessica, and that you can administer if necessary.
