Rated 5 out of 5 by whiteear A good cage for the money
We had bought this cage a year or so ago, for a lovebird that has since died. We now needed another one as our lovebirds had turned into hate birds, with one pair mobbing the other, so they could no longer share their really big flight cage. The second time it was really easy for two of us to put it together: I think the parts may have been milled to go together better this time. One drawback: we use the included 2 dishes for water and pellets, but also feed them veggies and cooked Higgins Worldly Cuisines daily, requiring another two more dishes each, which we place on the cage floor. The door is quite large, so occasionally one of the birds flies out while we are putting a dish in, and is a pain to catch them (I use a large butterfly-type net), Maybe the manufacturers could create a small door inside the large one (other cages do this) so a hand with a dish could be inserted, and a bird could not see enough daylight to dash out!
Other than that, we are very pleased with the cages. The roll easily on casters too.

Rated 4 out of 5 by sunshineeyes Nice Product, Horrible Customer Service
I ordered the cage and some other items, qualified for free shipping, but I needed this cage quickly, so I paid the extra to have it quicker. I assembled the product just fine by myself, until I got to the roof, which was horribly bent and had welds broken. I waited to call the manufacturer, per the instructions included in the box, finally managed to speak to a person regarding my issue who was the rudest man I have ever dealt with in my life. He told me that they had just opened and that he was the only one there so basically he wouldn't do anything for me. He refused to give me his name when I asked to speak to a supervisor who, conveniently was unavailable. He yelled at me and told me to shut up and deal with the fact that he wasn't ready to deal with customers an hour after they opened. Extremely unprofessional in every way, shape, and form. I finally do get to speak to someone and explain the situation, and they refused to expedite shipping of the replacement part. I explained why I needed it quickly and they did not care. The supervisor argued with me constantly and told me I needed to see if Drs. Foster and Smith would pay the shipping to get me the part quicker. I told them that it wasn't their fault. My package arrived in good condition, so there Quality Control person (whom they never asked for a number on) didn't do their job, it was their fault, not mine nor the Drs. fault. They do not care about keeping happy customers. Drs. Foster and Smith gave me a $25 credit even though it wasn't their fault because they know how to take care of a customer. Just keep in mind when you purchase any Prevue cage.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Terrafirma Cage is nice and big
First of all you need two people to put this together. It wasn't hard to do with the easy instruction. My cage came with a few scratches and this must of been anticipated as you also get a small bottle of paint with bush.
I do have concerns regarding the paint contents and will call the manufacturer for the list of ingredients. Hopefully none are toxic!!
I bought this cage for two parakeets. The food/water cups are way too large for parakeets and I will need to retro fit more appropriately sized cups.
It comes with only one large perch so you have to purchase others that will work with this cage.
All in all I like this cage due to its size and attractiveness. Since I just had it for one day I can't make comments at this time regarding how the birds like it.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Herp Arrived unusable, good customer service.
I received this cage yesterday and put it together as soon as it got to my door. Once assembled, I inspected it to make sure that it was all safe for my bird. The front of the cage above the door had two bars broken in half, which would easily impale a bird or allow it to escape first off. Second, almost every piece of the cage has chips in the paint. Third, the roof of the cage was bent pretty severely and required me to carefully bend it back to normal to get it assembled. Also, the bolts that hold the swivels on the door and the grate that is the bottom of the cage were rusted. On top of all this, the touch up paint that had come with the cage was hardly paint at all, and more like water.. would not be useful for touching up anything. That all being said, I called Drs Foster and Smith and they immediately chose to ship me a new cage and a return label. The entire call lasted approximately 10 minutes, with no complications. I suppose I will have to mix and match parts to get one decent cage.
