Healthy well balance food that your parrot will love
My timneh African grey, Scooter deserves the best and that was the reason I originally decided to give him InTune. I was hesitant at first to buy a bag knowing how fussy they can be about new food...but Scooter loved the pellets from the start. I know he's eating healthy and enjoying his food.

I've been in the avian field now for nearly 30yrs. Having both wild & domestic species experience. And after trying MANY brands of different pellet and seed mixes over the years. I have to say that this new pellet diet from Higgins is top notch folks. I have two "fids" an IRN or Indian Ringneck Parrot and a GCC or Green Cheek Conure. My IRN Keiko was going through an extensive molt and i was trying everything under the sun to help him along this irritating and painful process. After countless hours of online research as to what is "the best" pellet i could feed him and Kiwi my GCC. I came across Higgins InTune and to my amazement they took to it right away. Here we are 2 months later and Keiko's ring/collar has come in beautifully along with more glossy plumage. So what i've done now is taken a jumbo sized 2.5 gallon ziplock bag. And mixed this InTune with Zupreem fruit blend and it's been a HUGE hit at least with my "fids". I also supplement there diet with occasional feedings of Higgins Sunburst Conure blend. I'm telling you folks you cannot go wrong with the Higgins brand. The most important ingredients i look for in a pellet or seed mixture are the following; L-Lysine, Folic Acid, & Biotin. These 3 ingredients prove to be ABSOLUTELY essential during a birds molting season. I attribute these ingredients in turning my once ragged and worn IRN into a stunning beauty. In closing, i STRONGLY recommend both the Sunburst Seed mix and these Pellets as a complete diet for your birds. Hopefully you will also experience the positive changes i have seen in my own "fids" plumage, droppings, & overall behavior.
