I have two Pionus which, as most parrot people know, are sweet but not all that playful or, let's face it, that bright. I've tried some of the foraging toys without much success. (Other than the fillable ball with slots in the bottom to forage from -- that they like.)
I filled this with favorite treats and hung it in their cage where they would have to work hard to get into it. They both went nuts! They were spatting with each other about who got to work on which dish. Really, I have never seen them take to anything like this.
It doesn't spill the treats when it's mounted and they play with it. Don't fill it and lay it on the table. Just saying. Sometimes I'm not much smarter than the Pi's. Also, if the mounting hook is open and you put it down, it can come off and the entire top section of pieces can come off the hook. Not a problem, just a warning.
Really wonderful product.

My humans want me to forage for my food as I am a parrot with a nasty plucking habit. I got use to my food via a forage system but was very satisfied having my treats being handed to me. I use sign language to let my humans know when I was ready for a treat - which I much confess is pretty much all the time. I love almonds! One day the treat forager "BOTTOMS UP" appears! Talk about sinister humans - I could see my treats but not get them. That only lasted a day, maybe two. After all, I am a very crafty intelligent Quaker and figured out the "BOTTOMS UP" system quickly. Must admit (but don't let my humans know) it does add a bit more entertainment to my daily treat. Even my nighttime Nutriberry goes in it. I never know which cup the humans will use - but that is ok. They can't stump me! Now if I could only figure out how to get the humans to accept my plucking habit! I am a very pretty boy!

Great for all sized birds :)
Inside the cups I place a "bird safe" Kitty Litter and Pretty Bird pellets. My Cockatiels love forage for their Pretty Bird pellets :).

Our Red Lored Amazon Trixie loves this foraging toy. She spends substantial time figuring out how to get the treats, with twitters of delight when she snags a yummy!
